FAQ

Waxing removes the hair from the root, which means smoother skin that lasts longer compared to shaving. With consistent waxing, hair grows back finer and sparser over time, making each session easier and more effective. It’s not just about hair removal, waxing also gently exfoliates the skin, helping to clear away dead skin cells, even out skin tone, and improve texture. While there may be a bit of temporary discomfort, the results speak for themselves: soft, glowing skin you’ll feel confident in.

Why Wax?

Does Waxing Hurt?

Okay, real talk, it’s not a spa nap, but it’s also not that bad. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, and the good news is it does get easier the more you do it. I do everything I can to make it quick, efficient, and as chill as possible. Deep breaths help, and if you need a mini break, no problem. You’re in good hands, and I’ve got you every step of the way!

Your hair should be at least the length of a piece of rice (1/4 inch), exfoliate the day before, wear comfy clothes (more preferably 100% cotton), and if needed take a Tylenol 30-40 minutes before your appointment.

How should I prep before my wax?

A vajacial is basically a facial for your vulva (outer skin only). It helps with ingrown hairs, dark spots, and overall skin texture after waxing. I offer two different types: Same Day & 3-7 Day Post Wax.

What is a Vajacial?

Can I wax while on my period/or Pregnant?

Totally! Just wear a tampon or menstrual cup. (If you’d rather reschedule, no judgment. Please try and let me know as soon as you can! )

For getting waxed while pregnant, you absolutely can! You can wax all the way up until birth! Just let me know so I can make sure you are taken care of!

You might feel a little more sensitive than usual for both of these.

How often should I wax?

Every 4–6 weeks is the sweet spot. Staying consistent helps slow regrowth and makes the process way more comfortable over time. Going past this is like starting over.
